Bozeman Emergency Care
If you plan to restore an area in your mouth with a dental implant once the tooth has been removed, Dr. Moos highly recommends that the area be bone grafted to insure a dense bony mass for the implant to be inserted into. This is a very simple process taking just a few minutes to accomplish once the tooth has been removed. The socket is cleaned and small allograft particles are packed into the socket. A small bandage is sutured over the top of the bone particles to hold them in place as healing occurs.
